How It Works

I tailor every shoot to reflect each client’s specific needs. We discuss your needs and styles ahead of the shoot so we use the shooting time effectively. You may need a more traditional headshot, no problem, but we can also capture more natural, casual shots within a given environment or outdoors. I encourage you to bring a couple of wardrobe options so we have a nice variety of styles to work with.

Location

The location can be anything, really. There is a good selection of photography studios available to rent in Vancouver, for sure some close to you. Lots of environmental spaces available for rent also. Transportation of my mobile studio to your location is another great option. Depending on the current weather conditions outdoors gives great results also. The question is, what do you prefer?

After The Shoot

Within 24 hours of your session, your photos will be made available in a secure online proofing gallery for selection. You’ll be able to take your time narrowing down the photos and can consult with friends, family, your employer, or even me to see which images are best suited to your needs.

If you’d like all of the images from the session as you see them in previews, let me know!

What To Wear

I say casual all day long but it all depends on the message you want to tell. You want the extra points on LinkedIn - formal shirt it is. More of an "about me" page, then clean casual will be perfect. Cool jacket and a t-shirt in striking color for "how is it going?"... you get the gist. Just stay away from busy patterns, printed brands and logos, and double-check for spots and marks.

Finished Final Photos

Every package comes with at least one retouched photo. Your proof images mentioned above are going to look great, but we’re going to take your selections a step further. The key is to not over-do it. We’re going to strive to keep things natural, but a lot can be done in post to touch up and tweak the images so they’re looking just right. If you wake up with a blemish the morning of your shoot, it can disappear with a single brush stroke.

The final retouched images will be sent to your email digitally within 1 week of your selection. For each image, you’ll receive a high-resolution version for printing and a low-resolution version for the web.
